“It is always hard to choose an artist to do a portrait of a beloved pet..they need to not only see the animal as we do but also capture the spirit and soul of the animal. Leah did just that with my portrait of my beloved dog Wallace. The portrait is identical to the photograph I chose so much so that it would be hard to tell them apart on a computer screen. But the difference is in the portrait I can see the soul of my dog in his eyes,I feel I can almost stroke his fur and most of all that he is looking at me right from the frame of the picture.
